Il loro grido è la mia voce. Poems from Gaza

On September 18, 2025, I have organised at IMT School for Advanced Studies, Lucca, a multilingual public reading of the poems collected in the volume “Their Cry Is My Voice: Poems from Gaza” (Fazi Editore). Through readings in Italian, Arabic and English given by members of the School’s community, we heard words from Palestinian authors that speak not only of suffering but also of resistance and courage—such as those of Hend Joudah, Ni’ma Hassan, Yousef Elqedra, Ali Abukhattab, Dareen Tatour, Marwan Makhoul, Yahya Ashour, Heba Abu Nada (killed in October 2023), Haidar al-Ghazali and Refaat Alareer (killed in December 2023).
